BOURNEMOUTH, UK – 1st February, 2022 – We have an exciting year ahead at Amuzo Games, working with big name global brands creating new mobile and console game experiences. In anticipation of a busy and demanding year we have made two key director level appointments from within our team.

Nick Roberts steps up from Executive Producer to Head of Studio. First joining Amuzo in 2014 to bolster the sales and marketing department, Nick soon decided that working on games was a fun way to make a living. He has produced many of our big titles from LEGO City: My City 2 to the recently launched Card Blast for Netflix and wipEout Rush with Sony and Rogue Games.

As Head of Studio Nick is the point of contact for all brand and publishing partners, ensuring smooth day-to-day studio operations and championing innovation in digital gaming to the team. Nick is the man to talk to if you need a dedicated game development studio.

After a meteoric rise from QA to Producer of LEGO Ninjago: Ride Ninja, Om Nom Merge with Zeptolab and Idle Aquarium with Playstack, Brett Clarke has been running the Amuzo Hyper Casual Games business unit for two years, cunningly named Ozuma. This has seen us create and test multiple new games every month through our fast-paced prototype pipeline, working with Hyper Casual game publishers to find the kernel of an idea, make it, test it and analyse the data quickly and efficiently to launch successful games to the app stores. Brett’s talent and dedication make him the perfect choice for Head of Production, overseeing all project work and ensuring quality in everything we do.

Reflecting on the new promotions, Amuzo Managing Director Peter Phillips commented, “We have a hugely talented team here at Amuzo, and I am delighted to be able to promote from within and welcome two such able colleagues on to the Amuzo board at the start of what promises to be an exciting 2022 for the studio.”

Nick added, “What? Me, the head of a game studio where we can create mind-blowing mobile and console games? I just knew those 30 years spent as a game reviewer would come in handy! I’m really looking forward to meeting up with publishers at PG Connects London to discuss new projects.”

Nick and Brett will be attending Pocket Gamer Connects London from 14th-15th February. Meeting requests are open now on the MeetToMatch. Get in touch direct at
