Reporting to the Head of 3D Art you will be designing and developing 3D environments, characters and objects for use in mobile and digital console games. You will be a key member of the team, creating game worlds using Maya and Unity – a master of mobile oriented artwork and have a portfolio to wow us.

 

Location: Remote initially, then in office at Bournemouth, Dorset, UK

Salary: Dependent on skills, qualifications and experience

Skills Required

  • Experience using 3D modelling software, preferably Maya, to create 3D game assets
  • Experience using Unity
  • The ability to work in a variety of 3D art styles
  • Creative spirit is essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Operate in an Agile development environment and work as part of a team
  • Liaise with the developers and designers to ensure correct functionality in game
  • Ability to critically evaluate your own work constructively
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of creativity and understanding of modelling, texturing, lighting and particles

Reporting to the Head of UI/UX you will work closely with and coordinate numerous requests from our game designers, programmers, and management. You will have a great deal of creative input and command of the development of the user interface.

Skills Required

  • Two years’ experience working as part of a team
  • Proficient in Photoshop
  • Proven experience in flowcharting and GUI design
  • Creative spirit is essential

  • Strong graphic design and illustration abilities
  • An ability to make the information accessible to the user at all times
  • To design within an established style
  • Advanced 2D illustration experience within Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficient in the use of wireframes, storyboards and other tools to create simple, rapid prototypes to test, make improvements and implement Interfaces
  • Operate in an Agile development environment and work as part of a team
  • Take 2D designs and assets and implement them in a variety of development environments

Job Description

You must be flexible, adaptable, passionate and technically aware. You must possess the commitment and drive to take command of a project and organise it into a controlled and seamless production process.

Reporting to the Head of Production to help with all aspects of scheduling and team management throughout the development life cycle. You will manage the process for multiple projects whilst working in conjunction with each discipline playing a key role in creating award-winning games.

Main duties and responsibilities

As a Producer you will be passionate about games, games development and possess a strong understanding and knowledge of the processes involved accompanied with a strong desire to learn.
An awareness of best practice processes such as Agile is essential as the person we require must possess a knowledge of the tools of the trade. We will provide the awesome location, fun working environment, fantastically talented team and a variety of stellar projects on a variety of hardwares. The candidate must possess that special ingredient that says they want to make great games, on time, in budget and of the highest quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for the project’s successful delivery and will need to display an ability and willingness to work with the team to ensure consistency between vision and implementation.

Skills Required

  • Strong team management skills – experience of managing teams of developers in all disciplines
  • A strong team player, who is able to deal with difficult situations and problems
  • Strong risk analysis skills where it relates to scheduling, budget, personnel and design
