Raven: Way of the Warrior
This online game helped BBC Worldwide promote a children’s DVDi of the BAFTA award winning series Raven. It was an addictive platform game that rewarded kids on their progress by giving them branded screensavers, wallpapers and ‘Swap It’ points.
It also pushed players to visit the BBC shop in order to access a cheat code for the game. Were you the ultimate warrior? The campaign game was played over one million times in three months. It is very tricky at the end. Several people uploaded videos of themselves completing the game on YouTube just to show it was possible!
